Wander through our vibrant, immersive exhibits dedicated to the sounds that shaped generations.
Each section is a curated deep-dive into the music and culture of a specific time:

  • THE PSYCHEDELIC SIXTIES (60s)
    Experience the sounds of the counterculture, from the British Invasion to the birth of folk-rock.
  • THE GROOVY SEVENTIES (70s):
    Get down with funk, disco, arena rock, and the rise of punk.
  • THE AWESOME EIGHTIES (80s):
    Relive the era of new wave, heavy metal, and the MTV revolution.
  • THE GRUNGE NINETIES (90s):
    Explore alternative rock, hip-hop’s ascendancy, and the decade’s diverse sounds.

PLAN YOUR VISIT

As an entirely volunteer-run organization, the museum’s proceeds directly benefit the local non-profit For Love of Children (FLOC). Consequently, we do not operate a 24/7 front desk. Museum tours are offered exclusively by appointment only.

We recommend that visitors park in the Talbott Tower Parking Garage, located at
118 W 1st St Talbott Tower. Please check in with a valet at the front desk.
